Every summer I look forward to harvesting the herbs from our gardens and the flowers in the meadows and along the roads to use as natural dyes. My summer afternoons are spent dyeing some of our yarn with nature’s dyes. The colors are such subtle shades of greens, yellows, golds, and pinks. These are truly my favorite dyes to work with. Last year’s CSA shares all sold quickly proving that even our customers prefer nature’s colors as well!
