I always check for daily mail before coming inside from afternoon chores. The other day, I walked to the location where my mailbox should have been, but the mailbox was not there! The past month, I have watched the snow slowly creep up the post which supports the box. With each new snowstorm, the post got shorter and shorter. The fact that the mailbox was no longer visible could only mean one of two things: either the plow truck totally took it out and my mailbox was carried 4 miles down the road by the huge plow, or the snow finally completely buried it. With a little digging, I discovered that it was still there, it was just under a blanket of snow!
